The Moroccan Company Safirem has been awarded a 20-year contract to provide harbor towage to the New Port of Safi, Morocco. Safirem is part of the Italian Group Scafi, a global leader in harbor towage currently operating in Italy, Croatia and Greece.

The kickoff is planned within the second quarter of 2020 and Safirem is looking for qualified crew members to man its three ASD (azimuth stern drive) tugs designated to operate in the New Port of Safi.

The selection process will be managed by Safirem with the support of Scafi. The newly hired seafarers will receive dedicated training, sharing the Group’s standard best practices of operations.

– certificate STCW of Master at least of 2nd class according to the rule II/2;
– previous experience in the position, possibly on ASD tugboats;
– good knowledge of English (written/spoken),
